777455 *around the racetrack, there were abilities around, (examples: sword, ice, fire, wing, wheel, bomb, spark) which allowed both kirby and marker to use against each other.. kirby took the fire ability and tried to leave flames in front of marker to get hit by to slow him down*

777455 *he gave a sort of countdown on 3, and when he did, both machines had started to go on their own, kirby's was a ton faster than marker's, but couldnt turn, so he had to keep stopping to turn, allowing marker to be able to catch up*
