9ce148 *the entity stops, "looks" around and then keeps walking. Scott watches as it moves, making sure not to speak or move himself*

9ce148 *Scott, in fact, does not move. he hears the footsteps and the snarling get closer, as suddenly a tall dark gray creature walks in front of one of the windows on the front of the cabin. it has no visible eyes, and its mouth appears to be snout-like. it's also pretty tall, and it walks very slowly*

9ce148 *suddenly, from outside, Scott starts to hear a low muffled snarling, as well as heavy footsteps. he's about say or do something when he then hears that whispering voice again,* "𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 ... ... ... ... ... ... ... 𝚖𝚘𝚟𝚎 ... ... ... ... ... ..."

9ce148 *the lantern on the table suddenly extinguishes, and what little light there was left in the cabin fades. all thats visible is Scotts glowing eyesockets that don't actually provide any assistance with seeing* "(*and THIS is some rather INconvenient darkness)"

9ce148 *Scott immediately walks over to the chest, and investigates its contents. inside, he finds 4 batteries, a small backpack, a can of lamp oil, and a single little packet of 8 matches* "(*well, this is some rather convenient supplies)"

9ce148 [(*did I just draw a stupid ahh layout that will only be relevant one time? yes i did)]

9ce148 *this cabins interior appears to just be one big room. an unlit fireplace sits in the middle of the wall opposite of the front door. in the middle of the room is a simple wooden table, and 2 chairs. one of them is knocked over lying on the floor. a single lit lantern is on the table just barely illuminating the entire room. at the far end of the room, theres a chest in the corner, and a messy un-made bed beside it. this cabin also appears to have 4 windows: 2 on the front, and 2 on the back. the fireplace is between those two back windows*

9ce148 *once Scott sees the entity leave, he turns around, sighs, and takes a look at the cabin that he entered*

9ce148 *the entity's bones crack again as it stands back up straight. it backs up into the forest and disappears into the darkness*

9ce148 *suddenly he hears a whisper come from behind him* "𝙸 .... 𝚜𝚎𝚎𝚎𝚎 ... 𝚢𝚘𝚘𝚞𝚞𝚞 ...." *Scott freezes, and makes the decision to not turn around, and keep his eyes on this thing*

9ce148 *Scott also glimpses blood on this entity's clawed hands, as well as a 3-fingered slash mark on one of the trees it's close to*

9ce148 "(*dude, what even ARE you?)" *Scott mumbles. the entity changes its posture again: now it's bending so far backwards it just defies gravity and its head is upside down. the one constant is that it's still staring*

9ce148 *now spooked, Scott takes a minute to catch his breath. after that minute, curiosity gets the better of him, and he peeks out the window to see if it's still there watching him. and .. it actually is still there. it didn't move AT ALL, it didn't try to chase him, but it IS still staring at him*

9ce148 *very abruptly, it straightens its posture so its not leaning so far. its bones crack when it moves. this is enough to scare Scott into turning around, race into the cabin, and lock the door*

9ce148 *it doesn't try to hide when Scott sees it, it just continues to stand there and stare. Scott and this entity proceed to just stare at eachother for a good 2 to 3 minutes*

9ce148 *he turns around and looks back to where he just came from, and catches a glimpse of an entity 20 meters away: a humanoid. it's tall, but its exact height can't be determined because it's crouched slightly and leaning far to the left. its skin is white as a ghost, and it has no hair. where eyes should be are just dark black voids, his mouth lacks teeth, and is also a dark black void*

9ce148 *as Scott gets closer, he sees the door is slightly open,* "(*i am REALLY hoping nothing's in there waiting)" *he keeps approaching, and suddenly gets that feeling he's being watched*

9ce148 *Scott starts approaching the cabin, and after breaking through the tree-line, he finds that its in a clearing with a full view of the eternally night sky above it. it also appears theres a single light source inside, most likely a lantern* [(*Disclaimer: this isn't the cabin that functions as the exit, this is a different one probably manually placed by Exodius)]

9ce148 *after 30 minutes of walking and looking around, Scott hasn't found anything that could be considered shelter,* "(*oh my god, it's so over)" *seconds after saying that he spies a cabin through some trees* "(*nevermind we are so back)"

9ce148 "(*𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘂𝘂𝘂𝘂𝗻𝗻ⵑ)" *Exodius cackles as his voice finally fades from the forest, and Scott pushes onward now more alert, cautious, and frankly anxious*

9ce148 *Exodius (Evil Scott) turns towards the camera, and the text "YOU KNOW I DON'T LIKE WAITING" in jumbled fonts appears briefly on the screen. then the screen shuts off entirely*

9ce148 "(*i dont have a light source, and frankly its REALLY dark. how am i gonna see where i'm going??)" *another arm with ghost-white skin and rotted fingernails comes out of the ground holding a flashlight. it drops it on the ground in front of Scott, and the arm retracts back out of sight* "(*. . .)" *Scott picks it up, turns around and starts walking into the woods*
