35dc76 [The waiter walks over again after a minute and John orders before then looking over at Exodius.]

9ce148 "(*𝗜'𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿.)" *as Exodius reaches and grabs the menu from the table, John briefly catches a glimpse of Exodius' wrist which is very clearly flesh colored, and not white like his actual hand. whether or not John wants to talk about this is up to him* "(*𝗔𝗹𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝗽 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.)" *he starts looking at the menu*

35dc76 [He sets the menu down and looks at Exodius] "*... can you quit that and choose something?... from the menu."

9ce148 *most of those people try to just ignore him, one of them actively leaves the building*

9ce148 *Exodius at first ignores the menu placed down on the table, and instead chooses to stare at any humans that are present in the building. this usually leads to them seeing him, and becoming creeped out when he continues to stare even after being caught*

35dc76 (i keep having to get up to do things 😭) [He sees one and quickly raises his hand to signal them over, the waiter then drops off two menus and walks away, while looking down at one of the menus he makes a remark] "*i wonder if there's a method to your madness."

35dc76 [John stares at Exodius for a second before looking to the crowd of people to look for a waiter with a sigh]

9ce148 *he turns back to John* "(*𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻-𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝗶𝘁'𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿.)"

9ce148 *he sits down, grins, and looks at some random person who's also in the building* "(*𝗢𝗵 𝘆𝗲𝘀, 𝗜'𝗺 𝗮𝗺 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱.)"

35dc76 [He sits down at a table for two thats in a corner] "*hey, im a skeleton, not like i can eat physical food. and you can just order some human food if you want anyways."

9ce148 *Exodius doesn't pay attention to anyone else, he just keeps floating beside John as they go inside* "(*𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱?? 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁, 𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗳𝗳. 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁.)" *the sarcasm in his voice drips like venom*

35dc76 [As they arrive at the door, John stops for a second] "*yeah yeah. also i know it ain't much, but this is one of the few restaurants that sell monster food here, kinda weird seeing as there's been plenty monsters visit." [He opens the door and walks in, a few people look at the two of them as they enter.]

9ce148 "(*𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 𝗔𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆.)"

9ce148 "(*𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗲.)"

35dc76 [He shrugs] "*hey as long as you aren't in the process of killing me, i could care less."

9ce148 *he starts floating beside John with his arms crossed, clearly annoyed* "(*𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 𝗦𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.)"

35dc76 [He starts walking down the sidewalk towards the McDonald's] "*aah really? good to know, we can eat without me worrying too much 'bout ya."

9ce148 (*𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲, 𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁.)

35dc76 oh- i thought you left for a second. *john walks fully through the portal and closes it behind him*

9ce148 *the other side in the sense that he went through it*

9ce148 *and he reappears on the other side of the portal. and he's right back to staring and not speaking*

35dc76 damn.

35dc76 ...

9ce148 *Exodius is now instantly gone*

35dc76 *john snaps his fingers and a black bordered portal flickers open to his left, it opens to PAM city, a short walk away from a mcdonalds* i should work on these OORP portals more, quite a strain to get right. *he starts walking through it and turns to exodius as he does* ya coming?

9ce148 *the fact that Exodius has not spoken, or moved, or even broken eye contact is starting to become slightly unnerving*
