35dc76 [John runs quite far from Jimmy, sets the crystal down, then shortcuts back over to where Jimmy is. This is like one of the few times he's seen John actually run] "*alrighty. hit it for like, idk, five seconds?"

32284a *Jimmys visor begins to glow before a medium-sized condensed ray of fire is shot out twords the crystal, the fire around him getting noticeably weaker*

32284a "Oh? i havent used my pyrokenesis like that in awhile, but uhh, i can try-" *Jimmy starts to make signs with his hands*

35dc76 "*speaking of that! i actually need to test its limits, and figure out how to extract the magic stored in it" [He puts the now charged crystal next to the other one and pulls out another uncharged one] "*jimmy, think ya could send like, a beam of fire towards this one? once i get it to a safe spot that is."

35dc76 [The crystal quickly starts glowing intensely and John almost instantly pulls it away] "*woah thats strong. dont want it exploding on me now."

32284a "..Huh."

35dc76 "*ooh interesting." [He moves it closer to Jimmy's fire, the fire now being clearly absorbed into the crystal]

32284a *Noticeably, some of the fire seems to slightly waver twords the crystal, like its caught in a breeze*

32284a (void last action, im going wayy too fast-))

35dc76 [He plucks out an uncharged crystal as well as the charged crystal from earlier, putting the charged crystal far to the side and then bringing the uncharged one towards jimmy]

32284a *Fire slash sound effect*

32284a "If thats the case, do you want me to try out one of my attacks on it?"

35dc76 "*now, i brought you out here to see if it would work on your fire, and see how it would react to it"

32284a "Hm.."

35dc76 [John looks over to the box on the ground, a good distance from Jimmy] "*so, i was scavenging through some other universes and found this weird crystal that i couldn't use blue magic on, and so i took it back here to test on it, at first i thought it was some magic blocking crystal, but it turns out its actually absorbing it. i think this could be very useful for some defense tech"

32284a *insert that slightly high-pitched fast paced jibberish*

35dc76 [John, standing a good distance from the workshop, sets down the box of crystals and pulls out his phone, calling Jimmy]

35dc76 [He stops recording with the small recording device and attempts to pick up the crystal with blue magic, and it seems to just, not work entirely? After realizing this he just walks over to it and picks it up, bringing it over to the box of others and putting it in. he then carries the box outside to continue testing]

[John summons a blaster the size of his own head, as to not destroy anything, and he charges it shortly before sending a blast of magic towards the crystal. As the beam of magic gets close to and hits the crystal it appears to shrink inwards, as the crystal is being hit and absorbing this constant beam of magic it starts glowing intensely, even starting to vibrate] "*very very interesting." [He unsummons the blaster, the crystal is now glowing intensely] "*...i should probably take these tests outside, just in case it explodes."
