35dc76 [After a few minutes of looking, John leaves the affected area, retrieving all the scattered crystals from the explosion. After this, him and Jimmy walk back into the workshop, for the next few hours, they will be attempting to extract magical energy from the first charged crystal in an attempt to harness its power.] (the end, i assume.)

35dc76 [The scanner shows a lot of magical residue around the explosion area and a large spike near the center] "*interesting..."

35dc76 (pam crash smh) [John quickly runs over to where the crystal exploded, shortcutting mid run and reappearing with the scanner] "*well, now we know that exploding is a danger" [John looks at the ground where the explosion hit] "*doesn't look like there's much of a crater." [He starts feeling an intense magical surge throughout his body as he gets closer to the center of where the crystal exploded, he then pulls out the scanner and waves it around] "*what in the world??"

35dc76 [John stands up and looks at where the crystal exploded, then at Jimmy, then back at where the crystal exploded. If he could open his mouth, his jaw would be dropped] (sure dell, you dont need to ask if you should ask a question or not smh)

32284a *Jimmy is also knocked back, but not by much, maybe about 6 feet or so*

35dc76 [The crystal starts glowing, and when Jimmy stops firing, the crystal glows a very intense bright purple] "*oh hey, it hasn't explo-" [The crystal immediately explodes in a bright purple blast, about 30ft in diameter] "*HOLY-" [John gets knocked backwards from the blast, but catches himself with blue magic before he hits the ground]

32284a *A bunch of the fire seems to get sucked into his visor,w hich starts glowing a bright orange before a medium-sized condensed ray of fire is shot out from his head, the fire around him noticably getting weaker. this beam lasted for about 10 seconds*

32284a ((ok ouh uhm uhh redo)) "Alright lets see here.." Jimmys fire begins to get stronger as he starts making hand symbols*

35dc76 [John runs quite far from Jimmy, sets the crystal down, then shortcuts back over to where Jimmy is. This is like one of the few times he's seen John actually run] "*alrighty. hit it for like, idk, five seconds?"

32284a *Jimmys visor begins to glow before a medium-sized condensed ray of fire is shot out twords the crystal, the fire around him getting noticeably weaker*

32284a "Oh? i havent used my pyrokenesis like that in awhile, but uhh, i can try-" *Jimmy starts to make signs with his hands*

35dc76 "*speaking of that! i actually need to test its limits, and figure out how to extract the magic stored in it" [He puts the now charged crystal next to the other one and pulls out another uncharged one] "*jimmy, think ya could send like, a beam of fire towards this one? once i get it to a safe spot that is."

35dc76 [The crystal quickly starts glowing intensely and John almost instantly pulls it away] "*woah thats strong. dont want it exploding on me now."

32284a "..Huh."

35dc76 "*ooh interesting." [He moves it closer to Jimmy's fire, the fire now being clearly absorbed into the crystal]

32284a *Noticeably, some of the fire seems to slightly waver twords the crystal, like its caught in a breeze*

35dc76 [He plucks out an uncharged crystal as well as the charged crystal from earlier, putting the charged crystal far to the side and then bringing the uncharged one towards jimmy]

32284a *Fire slash sound effect*

32284a "If thats the case, do you want me to try out one of my attacks on it?"

35dc76 "*now, i brought you out here to see if it would work on your fire, and see how it would react to it"

32284a "Hm.."

35dc76 [John looks over to the box on the ground, a good distance from Jimmy] "*so, i was scavenging through some other universes and found this weird crystal that i couldn't use blue magic on, and so i took it back here to test on it, at first i thought it was some magic blocking crystal, but it turns out its actually absorbing it. i think this could be very useful for some defense tech"
