Nemesis however quickly turns around, opens a red square portal in front of himself, and he flies through it. the exit portal is behind Ex, and when Nemesis exits he continues flying towards Ex's back*

9ce148 *exploiting this brief opening, Ex mutates his right arm into a flesh and bone axe. with little effort, he cuts Nemesis' left arm clean off between the shoulder and elbow joints. blue cryophene coolant splatters on the ground, but Nemesis does not appear to react at all*

9ce148 *Ex gets into a stance that suggests he's about to fly forward really fast, but Nemesis responds faster by kicking on his jet engine, and flying forward first. Nemesis closes distance really fast, and once he's in range of Ex, he does a 3-punch combo to his head, an uppercut that sends him into the air, and then a final punch to the gut that sends up away from him a little bit*
