070ca2 Day 6: Well, Was It Worth It?
021ac0 No, this is actually quite tame as compared to the political discussions that happen for most families at thanksgiving. Especially when the two sides of the family have differing political ideologies, like mine does.
d2509e Did you know that growing up with the idea that dating a boy is normal and okay is much more affective than dating a boy then breaking up with them when it comes to developing emotional awareness in terms of whether dating a boy is ok or not
b234bc It's more difficult because it needs more people to be mature and patient and that's all
702957 ffs, this is worse then thanksgiving politics at the dinner table
b234bc No? I experiment as in I try different things like dating a boy, this does relate to gaining emotional intelligence as that just comes from relationships in general,
753abc
d2509e Your words conflict
d2509e How can you say “it requires maturity and patience in the same way any other relationship does” and then say “it is not comparible in difficulty, context, or structure to a one on one relationship”
9582fb 21 more days :)
d2509e And you’re downplaying its difficulty when you say “just like one on one relationships” because it is not just like one on one relationships it is exponentially MORE difficult the more people are involved.
d2509e But you do view failing and trying relationships over and over as finding yourself pepper you literally said it yourself that thats how you think you gained emotional intelligence
702957 then the letter 2, then the number two...then-..uh....AH-....ERROR...
021ac0 Mexican standoff
702957 wtf. I put the number two, then the word two...
702957 "Looks like it's 2 against one"
021ac0 All this poly talk just reminds me of the post that was like "How does a poly relationship break up? Is it like, a vote" or something like that
021ac0 Hi Syl!!!
8b7522 i assume everyone is a fed (shhhh) -Demented
b234bc I agree that it's difficult, but you paint it as if it's impossible and hasn't been done, it requires maturity and patience in the same way any other relationship does, and "I dont see getting into relationships, failing, trying again" is not what I said nor what experimenting truly is, I do not think it's rarely healthy and if I did it's not in the way you do. yes it is not comparible in difficulty, context, or structure to a one on one relationship but it's not painted as it being so like you think it is
816c09 Hi E-bag
021ac0 Who you calling a fed?
8b7522 hello federal agent #238 -Demented
021ac0 Yes, it is I! Sorry, had to lock in for a moment in class.
d2509e And now what we disagree on that makes our views contrasting: relationships being utilized to “develop” emotional intelligence, and polyamory being as detrimental or dangerous as a one on one relationship
702957 honestly, I rather have them argue, then to sit here and chat awkwardly. It's just two philosophical nerds talking about the right or wrongs about a love or smth- idfk....
d2509e Ok so let me lay out what you agree on me with: polyamory is exceptionally difficult, it requires maturity and patience, it’s rarely healthy, it is not comparible in difficulty, context, or structure to a one on one relationships.
d2509e Do you need sources or something you keep saying im stupid and dumb whenever I make a point
fb3c0a i am trying
702957 SC, just hold it in lol
b234bc It's not viewed the same as a regular relationship that's why it has a seperate identity
8b7522 must be new to the internet then -Demented
fb3c0a holding myself from spamming "shut the fuck up"
d2509e Pepper let me correct you AGAIN because youre STILL viewing it as a black and white “yes or no”. I do not think polyamory is WRONG or BAD. I think it should be REGULATED by the individual and not something seen at the same conceptual level as one on one relationships. Because it ISNT. And you AGREE.
b234bc That's dumb
702957 ffs
d2509e There is no such thing as a healthy breakup and every end of a relationship will result in mental damage due to the fact that a relationship, believe it or not, is not supposed to end. It biologically messes with you. If you instead instill moral and social values within a child from a young age and allow for them to develop into a full human being before attempting to connect with another human being you will find that they are much more successful at keeping a relationship because they understand social context and communication much better.
d2509e I dont see getting into relationships, failing, trying again, and so forth as “finding yourself” and i instead see it as a crude and incorrect way of going about emotional maturity. People don’t get into relationships at a young age to mature and understand more so they can have better relationships in the future they do it because theyre a kid and they have a crush on someone and their brains are not fully equipped for stable relationships so the relationship almost allways fails and guess what they don’t gain experience from it they gain trauma which FUCKS with their mental health and makes future relationships more DIFFICULT.
702957 :P
b234bc This isn't your channel and if you have no problems with someone posting gore here even if people don't want that then I will not consider what you don't want
You can leave feedback about PAM here, but please note that I don't have a lot of time to work on PAM at the moment. There are lots of other tools out there (see here for examples) in case you need a tool with more features. Thank you for your understanding!
