f38192 i just learned about air drag, and if there was like no air everything would drop the same time
f5254f Little FUCKING monsters...
f5254f Fuckin' cakes again
14d431 nothing inherintly determines the points in time at which i take the steps, i could take my first step at 1 minute, then my second at 1.5 minutes, OR i could take my first step at 1.8 minutes, then 1.9, then 1.95, and so on. I still cover an infinite amount of distance in the end (if all my steps are the same size)
ee8921 erm
f38192 bmo do bad in exam?!?!?! physics so easy, get apple drop apple, there you proved physics, light work.
f38192 why are we talking about m*th
14d431 here's another example: i want to count infinity, i start at 1, then at 1 minute i go to 2, then at 1.5 minutes i go to 3, then 1.75 min i go to 4, and so on. in the end i will have counted infinity and i will know what the true last number is.
f38192 Morning everymonkeys.
ee8921 but yeah that's a harder one for the walking one I heard of I was thinking if you're going a set distance then it has a preset amount of time it would take and that determines when you complete the steps but idk about that
14d431 someone could say "well the plank time is the smallest amount of time so you can't keep dividing the time you take infinitely" but that ignores the mathematical ideal nature of this scenario
20d68e it would be off because the light bulb blew out gg
14d431 here is an example. you have a lamp that's turned off. after 1 minute you turn it on, then half a minute later you turn it off, then a quarter minute later you turn it on, and you keep halfing the amount of time you take before you flip the switch, and after 2 minutes passes, you will have completed an infinite amount of switching the lamps switch. the question is, will the lamp be on or off in the end, because it can only be either on or off.
14d431 it would go on forever if you took the same amount of time to do each step, but in a super task you do the next step in half the amount of time you did the last one, and because time keeps going no matter what, after a certain amount of time you will have completed the infinite tasks.
20d68e Is it that thing about an infinite number of steps like the covering half of the distance thing that theoretically goes on forever
3c6dc5 Do you know what supertasks are
7a1482 blegh I give up on hands

8b3b37 Pepper because you didn’t give me your physics knowledge i did bad on the exam
7a1482 yo
ec4a6c Good morning -Demented
20d68e I've genuinely never seen one of those I'd have to check if we have one
822c84 Ah, okay- It is nice to try though, especially just coming up with stuff. If you wanna try one without having to buy it go to guitar center, they got tons of keyboards you can try.
ee8921 because I don't, I justt really wanna, I'm stuck using a virtual piano bro
822c84 Oh neat, i didn't know you played too.
ee8921 ought, gl with that
822c84 Decent, just lots of tests today, but i got competition tomorrow so i gotta practice a ton too.
ee8921 just longing for the ability to play piano again because of sevenfour
You can leave feedback about PAM here, but please note that I don't have a lot of time to work on PAM at the moment. There are lots of other tools out there (see here for examples) in case you need a tool with more features. Thank you for your understanding!
