8de716 cosmic strings are 1 dimensional hypothetical defects in the fabric space, it gets confusing for me as well so i just go by whatever wikipedia says. and what i meant by hypothetical power is that it is extremely powerful and not at all at the same time because cosmic strings are a hypothesis, if someone with this power believes in their power then it'll get stronger, and the opposite if they don't. additionally to this power, its abilities are literally whatever the user can think of, being able to conjure anything through the power of thought (or some bullshit like that)
