90dac8 Its simple, Runes are run on the belief that they are the medium to affecting the real world, thus there are collectives of people believing that it would work as it does, and thus, it allows the runes to take the effect that a person's imagination is able to do so. Of course, a limitation is that Runes are set-effects as people need a consistent belief in what that rune does, so it is much more limiting in that sense, but you can simply create whatever runes you want as long as you have a collective belief in it. These are called "Wills"

Runes are the byproduct of this, as they act as a concept that pours your imagination into a specific idea, being Runes, to manifest that into the world. Thus, Runes act as a way of imagination producing its effect in reality, but! I said a while ago how one person is extremely unlikely to alter the real world with imagination, so how does this work?

90dac8 I would say, its not really a main plot thing, as it is a theme of the world itself. They face more than just their own destiny, they face the world as it is, with people that learned to adapt or created their own ways of securing power with what the world naturally provided them

90dac8 Living creatures have a natural resistance to imagination, but what if that creature was a byproduct of the imagination of the world? How would you envision that affecting them?

90dac8 Its completely unknown that they can, but they believe they can.

90dac8 This is something that Star explores. Star is everything, or specifically, he wants to be EVERYTHING, because he feels like he can be something more than what everyone valued him as. He has a belief in himself that he is able to be someone they couldn't ignore, no matter where they look, where they see, or what they hear, it will only be him. He is the Rabbit Gun, and he is trying to alter what he views as his destiny.

90dac8 Thats not exactly true either, cause thats something that Danger would know. Danger is eternity, he is the epitome of someone who realizes that everything will occur, and nothing will occur. He hopes that there a chance for eternity to bear anything of substance, anything new to break the cycle, but in his heart, he also believes it is futile in the face of an eternal cycle

90dac8 And amongst these people, the very, very few that exist, are Danger and Star.

90dac8 Not everyone does, because people have a natural resistance to imagination. So, if some people have set destinies, they were not made by the imagination of living creatures, but the imagination of the world itself, as only the world would will a creature to a goal it knows will occur. In a sense, its god.

90dac8 Rabbit Gun explores someone's capacity to handle their place in a world that far exceeds them, to declare and ask, "Who am I? Why do I exist? What do I do?"

90dac8 Rabbit Gun is based around two protagonists. Danger and Star. They exist in a world that is beyond imaginations, and they themselves are products of this world, but following a set destiny for themselves to fufill the world's goals. Its vague, but I'll break it down further: Rabbit Gun's world is ruled by many different kingdoms spanning dimensions and numerous universes, no, beyond universes, just nigh-infinite types of scales. Yet, the world has become a mixture of dream and reality, where there exists voids, or remnants of past events that may have never existed, or abilities crafted that shifted the world towards a specific direction.

90dac8 Who knows? It may be, cause imagination can alter the past as well. It will alter the past to fit any sort of narrative that an imagination of something in the present dicates.
