236914 not to mention how terrible, flat and uninteresting the characters were

236914 the plot hinges around spongebob wanting to be a "big guy" which is the stupidest shit ive ever heard. The movies dont exactly have perfect coherent plots but damn they didnt try for this one. The underworld was lame and the ocs they introduce are lame and forgettable, just like the rest of he film- overall 3/10. Sponge on the Run 6/10, Out of Water 9/10 and the OG 10/10 films so the last two were real drops in quality.

236914 i just watched that new spongebob movie and it easily the worst of the theatrical releases. They should have stopped after the second one since the first two were great, this film serves no purpose other than to ruin Spongebob's already ruined timeline by recasting mr krabs as a pirate when EVERYONE knows he was in the navy. Really dissapointed. Sponge on the Run wasn't fantastic but it was entertaining enough to where it was a tolerable viewing... meanwhile this film was the most dry, predictable stretched out pile of dribble i have ever seen.
