Basically, a fragment of an old god is in place in a museum in the heart of a city, having been there since it's discovery in 1847, seeming like a inert shard or scale until in 1982 it activates, having been overwhelmed and flooded with humanities negativity and hate, causing it to embody that hate and become a powerful entity bent on spreading its influence and destroying the race it's been conditioned to despise: Humans. As more hate grows, so does its power, and considering what time it activated and what happened before or during that time, it's safe to say it's gonna be almost impossible to beat.
