816c09 I'm somewhat glad my friends are giving me encouragement but my other friend who literally plays multiple instruments says it's fucking easy. Again- I'm primarily a brass player, I want to get into woodwinds tho.

816c09 And he put my friend down a part for the same reason. I can't fucking grasp the concept of playing jazz piano. Yet he gave me the hardest solo known to man because I can't find the version of it at all. No matter how I practice, nothing works or sticks. This is why I wanted to do Trumpet. It's my primary instrument and I have a decent amount of confidence on it. But we can't have 6 trumpets, I doubt he wants to double parts.
