236914 (the three began the chatter amongst themselves about the fight. while this happened, something flew overhead.)

236914 "calm down boy, it's only been..." (mulligan checks his watch.) "damn. too long."

236914 "...sleep with one eye open."

236914 "Well, even if she doesnt show up we got to see a cool fight, right?"

236914 (suddenly, rattleback would perk his head up like he was listening to someone.) "alright alright, i'm done... you're probably right." (rattlejack would pick him up. and place his palm on his chest.) "gone." (just like that, the shade would vanish, sent back outside of reality where it belonged.)

236914 "Pro tip. Don't let your guard down until you KNOW you've won for sure." (the shade would not respond)

236914 (suddenly, a different rattleback would connect with the palm.) "Power down." (rattlejack then drove his fist into shade's back, shutting down his body once again. rattle back would then step on his back for good measure.)
