bce8e5 i prepare the raft with my longer logs, and fashion and oar out of some more logs. I drag the raft to the hole in the wall and into the water, and begin rowing towards the island.

bce8e5 after a long days work of making brick molds, i now have 100+ sun-dried fire-resistant refractory clay bricks made with clay, sand, and pot ash from my fire. I dig another pit next to my charcoal one and start layering the bricks with more clay and straw to make a kiln. I have also constructed a shed around my charcoal and wood piles.
