bce8e5 this first bit had a turn based roll based attack system with defense, attack, and healing, but i'm planning on mixing it up with some systems that i'm gonna make myself

83f53c hows the action system going 2 work is it gonna be like dnd where you roll for the effectiveness or however that works

bce8e5 theres 8 players who act as sort of "newbies" to this power system world, sort of like harry potter going into the wizardry world. theres gonna be a bunch of characters that are on your guys side, and a bunch of villians you guys will have to defeat too. Lots of character building will be in between, meeting new people, conversations, and so forth. There will be quests and tasks you guys will have to complete in order to progress the story, and so on.

bce8e5 maybe i could reserve color for super cool moments and keep in between action panels as colorless? also probably i can color the "talkbox" sprites for all the different characters since those will be used over and over again, those are probably gonna be the hardest to make though i suck at semi-medium sized pixel art

bce8e5 i mean im good with pixel art if i look at references, even if the original reference isn't pixel art, so i'll probably make my own references via collage/just searching for good ones and then make the art on pam while looking at them.

83f53c that's a very good question beemo, i think just doing it on pam would work cuz like if you did it on paper you would have to send like links or deal with crzy image loss and it would be immersion breaking o algo
