823b65 it expresses our culture, and what we socially see as ok. we use it to bond with others, particularly to form social circles, which is done surprisingly alot by shunning and outcasting others. its a tool to see if others think the way you do, or if they're different. You can make a racist joke and see how it lands, then determine if these are your people or not, or make a mario joke and see how it lands, and see if these are your people or not. It's incredibly useful and, like I said, political.

823b65 i think you're currently in a limbo state between two worlds, and it feels like you have to choose between the two a bit, no? you don't like how easily offended some of us are, you think alot of us are weird, it makes you angry. but you also like us for our culture, the art, the goofiness, the authentic care and friendship. You have a lot of ideals ingrained within you that rings alarm bells in your head whenever someone does something you used to think was disgusting, or weird, or just plain wrong, but theres another part of you, or maybe just the space your in, that tells you that maybe it isn't as bad as you initially thought. But you know its wrong. But, you also know it might not be. And it causes a clash.

4d560e What im pondering to myself is like, idk i just got back from my vacation to bend or something i genuinely never asked where we were the entire time im not kidding. Idk it was so weird because it just like, wasn’t rly a vacation. I did the exact same things i do at home, i sat in my room and drew pictures, sure i went fishing like once or twice, but that wasn’t really a travel required activity, idk it felt like a waste of money. The house was, ok, it got me to do some creative writing if you remember that, but, idk

4d560e I feel like there’s something significant i need to change about myself to prevent these incidents in the future, i think my main issue is i sometimes don’t bend the knee as quickly as i should, usually because what im arguing against is absurd in my eyes and bending the knee would be trivial. But, i can’t agree with everyone on everything, and as such i guess i need to just not push people that hard on things and maybe keep the irony to a more easily recognizable degree or something along those lines
