006d2b okay kinda late but. in short Grayscales are anthropomorphic, wolf-like, sapient creatures that have the ability to regenerate in death and on top of that gain stronger body structure so they can take more damage. The caviat to this however is that they have to have their heart restarted in a certain amount of time or they die permanently.
