8defd6 it's usually a generational thing, their parents raised them like that so they're going to raise you like that as well, as you said they have good intentions but their methods while logical in their eyes might seem cruel or unnecessary in yours. Whats important i think is briding that gap and coming to an understanding on how you want to live your life.

82d9d9 like the problem is partly how much she talks about it and then it just becomes noise but the SUPER MAJOR problem is how much of it makes me feel like i'm fucking useless, it gives off so much "you still act like this?" vibes and shit that every time she's in my vicinity i just. become depressed.

82d9d9 idk the word either but the reinforcement to do something has becpme so droning that i just don't have the motivation to do jackshit like taking care of myself. and if all that shit worked to its fullest potential i'd be a major crashout with ungodly identity issues

82d9d9 and there's my mother. she means well but none of that goodwill has translated over into actual good and a lot of it actually hurt me rather than helped me. she always does this thing where she convinces me to like, take care of myself, and then tried to motivate me with hypotheticals of people thinking about me as a homeless creature as if everyone would act like i had a giant spotlight and 7 "interact with me" signs that have metaphysical aura

My dad will walk in on me making stuff sometimes but he prolly thinks it's just some video game or something cuz it's pixel art kekw
