68c135 and the hatching/dithering wouldnt always be surrounded by other values and can js be used as a transition like you and me have been doing w pixel art

68c135 so im js assuming oh hatching is like a more "harsh" means of blending so the closer your lines are the darker the value appears and the more theyre gapped the lighter does that make any sense

68c135 ive been doing the same thing with dithering so its kinda a means of filling the space where a shadow doesnt entirely land but the value is still mean to be darker than its base
