68c135 I tend to use it more in areas where the shape breaks apart- so for me usually the edge of a shadow or where linework blends into a slightly lighter tone ( (don't dither smaller-scale work or tight spots in general fyi it'll look messy n cluttered)

68c135 I keep dithering in my back pocket now knowing its more of a method used for blending on a restricted palate opposed to gradients/grad values

68c135 mostly to disperse flat looking surfaces and introduce a simple gradient without having to use an actual gradient that adds too many colors to the pallette. It's not something for every situation and overdoing it doesn't look very good either, but for certain parts it can really help

8defd6 yk im lowk happy i've gotten 2 the point where i can somewhat consistently pump out like decent artwork, though i do feel like i should branch out into other styles so i dont get too in my comfort zone with the "draw body, put misc animal head on it, pose, color and add cloth folds, put a bunch of nonesense in the BG, put text, repeat" formula i've been sticking to.
