236914 one last thing to say on this album, the vocals are REALLY carrying the record. its all the same stuff sure but you can tell he's putting in the effort and it's the closest thing to breathing life into this stale record... Reminds me of Shinedown's rather forgettable effort Us and Them, where you can still sit through the whole thing thanks to Brent being a phenomenal vocalist; hes not as good as prime Brent Smith but he's a solid singer.

236914 i dont usually agree with the baffling takes of those who inhabit sputnikmusic.com but the review for this album on the site hits the nail on the head with what im getting at. it's good, it's fine, but disapointing off In Due Time (their debut) and is way less of an interesting listen.

236914 ...i spoke too soon... the album is not bad but it's not particularly good or interesting either. It all gives the feeling of "I've heard this before" since none of it really feels like there's an effort to stand out from each other which honestly just makes it feel like youre listening to the same couple of okay songs over and over and not 12 different songs, you know? all in all its a standard, okay, unremarkable, but ultimately satisfactory rock album... 6/10

236914 new thing right now is an album called Immortal Verses by this band called Submersed, i quite enjoyed their debut, maybe because my beloved Mark Tremonti produced it, but this one seems to follow in the last's footsteps pretty good so far.
