He meets a nice Sylveon and they get together and have a Shiny Child, but the Regular Umbreon soul possesses him and kills everyone but his son. The Umbreon, filled with grief decides to kill himself. It ends with the Shiny Eevee that was his son evolving into an Umbreon. Best part about it? The male protagonist from last story was the Shiny Umbreon's trainer who set him loose.
