cab351 Take a deep breath and face the consequences. I may not know, what the hell, your deal is. But even as the whole world falls, to pieces, I will not break. I won't be defeated. Face me now, is this what you wanted? By your own sins, now you will, be haunted. Understand, you're the one, who's fallen. Wicked hands, picked the wicked option. -Sans

6df95d Was he a good artist? Maybe. But here's an image demonstrating the difference between his drawings and the drawings of other artists: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/liberapedia/images/c/ca/Hitler_art_study_1.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/362?cb=20100412162243
b9de0d OK TIME TO RAP SNAS FROM UNDERTOLE
cab351 Well, you gotta say, he WAS a good artist! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paintings_by_Adolf_Hitler
6df95d Hitler initiated the Winter Help project, which sent food, clothing, supplies, etc. to German families in the General Government (occupied Poland). It encouraged Germans to also donate pennies and Reichsmarks to the cause, which seems all good and well until you realise that not doing so could result in you not getting a promotion at your job, being fired, and in some cases, even being arrested by the Gestapo.
cab351 I'd like a break from fighting you physically, so sure. -Sans
6df95d No one seems to criticise him for starting the war in the first place. Hitler also declared war on Poland, Denmark, Norway, Finland (after the Continuation War when Finland became one of the Comintern), Belgium, the Netherlands, Great Britain and France & their colonial empires, the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, and many more. He also occupied Danzig and supported the Nationalists by providing air support and lend-lease in the Spanish Civil War.
b9de0d who want to rap battle?
6df95d Hitler's economic policy was pretty good. He got Germany out of the Great Depression, had near full employment (aside from the Jews, but they made only 500,000 of the total population of 57-58 million so we don't mention that), and he opened up many job opportunities in areas such as medical science, banking, research & technology, and more... oh wait... I WONDER HOW HE DID THA-- (he removed Jews from those positions so non-Jewish Germans could have them instead. Some Jewish-German scientists such as Albert Einstein (who would later take part in the Manhattan Project) fled Germany just to escape persecution).

0b51d0 Wait.. is that racist-
0b51d0 Also, fun fact. The average black hood child eats more pasta than an Italian man.
6df95d Yes, someone had the audacity to say that "Aside from the anti-Semitism, *huh huh* Hitler wasn't THAT bad" so I'm spending the next 2 hours pointing out every bad thing Hitler done.
0b51d0 helo, axel.))
b0303f We are learning here
6df95d Hitler mocked Roosevelt and Chamberlain for asking for him to assure he would maintain peace. In 1938, FDR sent a personal appeal to Hitler asking for him to assure that he wouldn't declare war on 27 different countries. And you know how he responded? He ridiculed Roosevelt with withering sarcasm, saying in a jokingly tone to the Nazi parliament in Nuremburg "Mr. Roosevelt demands that German troops shall not attack the following independent nations: Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain, Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Yugoslavia, Russland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iraq, Arabia, Syria, Palestine, Egypt."

6df95d Hitler also tried to argue that other countries started the war. To justify annexing the Sudetenland, he argued that ethnic Germans were being mistreated in Czechoslovakia (they weren't). In August 1939, he also ordered the SS to dress up as Polish soldiers, equip themselves with Polish weapons, and then conduct an assault on a radio tower on the German-Polish border. The head of the SS, Heinrich Himmler then ordered the SS to take Jewish refugees to the radio towers, were they shot them and then dressed them up as Poles to further make it look like Poland was the aggressor. And you want to know what he did at the same time he declared that he wanted peace and Germany was being attacked?
6df95d On one occasion, on 10 May 1933, in many German cities, university students and Sturmabteilungen tossed books writ by Jews onto a pile before setting it on fire. Among the books and literature burned was the work of Heinrich Heine, a German poet born to a Jewish family that later converted to Lutheranism. One hundred years earlier, Heine warned "Where one burns books, one will, in the end, burn people." It took only eight more years for the Nazis to fulfill Heine's prophecy.
6df95d Yes Plant, I am interested in the Napoleonic Wars.
6df95d In terms of education, the Nazis were bad too. They had a policy of indoctrinating children since 1933. They introduced books such as Der Giftpilz (The Poisonous Mushroom; just look at the cover art made by Philipp Rupprecht) into public schools, which was taught as fact instead of fiction, with students being forced to swallow the information with an uncritical mind. Aside from introducing books that contained anti-Semitic material into public schools, the Nazis also banned books that were written by Jewish authors.
b0303f Do you know any other important moments in history other than WW2?
6df95d On 7 April 1933, the Reichstag parliament passed The Law for the Restoration of Professional Civil Service, which prohibited not just Jews but anyone who didn't "give their fullest support to the national State" from serving in the Wehrmacht.
6df95d Catholics even, were, once again, targeted. According to a certain Elizabeth Vetter (a German girl who attended a Catholic school in Rötz), "Nazi soldiers took down crucifixes from the classroom walls of her Catholic school. In their place, the soldiers hung portraits of Adolf Hitler [...] After that, [me and my classmates] learned a new way to pray. They extended their arms in the Nazi salute, saying 'Adolf Hitler, guide us into the new Reich.'" Source: Bartoletti, Susan Campbell.: Hitler Youth. Growing Up in Hitler's Shadow. 2005. Scholastic. 557 Broadway, New York, NY, United States. Chapter 3: "Where One Burns Books" Page 40.
6df95d Child soldiers. Hitler created a youth wing of the Nazi Party in 1926 known as the Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth). Children as young as 12 were being taught how to use dangerous equipment such as Panzerschrecken, Panzerfäuste, rifles, submachine guns, etc.; children were being trained as hard as the military was. During the war, Hitler began assigning the HJ to artillery batteries (so they now operated dangerous flak guns) and later even made a military formation specifically for the SS-HJ known as the 12. SS-Hitlerjugend-Panzerdivision.

6df95d Concentration camps also targeted and killed 3.3 million Soviet POWs, as well as Romani, Communists, Socialists, Pacifists, and general civilians.
6df95d Hitler also targeted infants, the elderly, poles, serbs, catholics, homosexuals, and the physically and mentally handicapped for starters.

6df95d Don't worry, I'm here to ruin your historiography hottakes anyways.
