What did the person do in order to warrant such punishment? What is the merit by then? Obviously, at the end of the day, the examples are merely based on moral values and it doesn't seem to contribute too much to my point.

226e04 Obviously, valuing your life is no biggie. What about the value of others? Why of course, especially if they're someone you have a close relationship to, you'd likely say you'd protect them with your life.
