777455 I also wouldn't call that attempt a failure at all, just because you need to fix some things in your view, doesn't make it a failure at all. No art piece is cleared of being a one and done sorta thing, every artists redos a part of an artwork all the time. You don't have to discard something just because one thing didn't come out how you wanted it to. What I'm trying to say is that you're perfectly okay to remake something, especially if it doesn't look the best to you, but don't let little things about an art piece discourage you on simply fixing the drawing and making it better with little edits here and there.

777455 I'm not saying to go with a different artstyle at all, mostly just if something is off to you, simply use guidelines n such to help fix what looks off to you. Any art style can and often uses sketches/guidelines, it's what helps makes the art look more clean sometimes.

dd5ac1 so u want me to use my other art style and guidelines i use but not often and i was going to redraw it anyways i also wanted the head to look like the original but i guess imma change it i also just wanted to do something new with the hair i was going for fluffy or puffy spiky hair but i guess it didn't work out this redisine is a failure and that's ok i had fun making it but it time to redesign the redesign lol ok ty -lily

777455 (Gonna use Madoromi for my example lol-- (also not gonna bother with the description)) If you ever have trouble trying to make something, especially the head, you can always copy the sprite and move it somewhere else on the canvas and sorta draw out the basic shape of that part you're struggling with. What I have here is me lining out the structure of Madoromi's head, I'm only lining out the shape of her head and ignoring the hair. You want the hair to go around the head instead of it seeming like it's just there on the head as like a hat. Doing this can help you improve and give your art possible more depth to the art. I absolutely know that you would know what sketches are, but don't be afraid to sketch over something again real quick to figure out the proper guidelines to help shape something
