9ead01 the fun part about ultrakill is that you don't need to know the lore to understand the game either, all you have to know is what it tells you directly (hell is full, paint the world red)

9ead01 you don't see any of the war in ultrakill anyways, it's just the lore behind it, you just play as V1 killing in the layers of hell, (WITH THE BEST MUSIC BTW) and then fighting angels like gabriel and virtues. (also demons, husks, other machines, and PRIME SOULS)

9ead01 Oh uh I heard of dusk but never tried it, I played doom and it was fantastic, I have all doom copies. Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3, Doom 2018, Doom Eternal. I don't have dark ages rn.

9ead01 but basically the lore of Ultrakill is WW1 never ends, and they start making machines that run off of blood, so god kind of runs away because he's disappointed, leaving everything behind, so eventually all humans kill eachother and hell is full, but the machines dont want to die because they have conscience now, because of blood. so they enter the gate of hell which had been opened during the war, and they try to kill everything for blood. So you play as V1 (the first V series machine that was scrapped in favor of the V2 series.

3f58ff You go fast, and shoot shit. That's in laymen's terms. However, there's no really any story to it other than the player trying to reach The Void in order to beat the game. It's an arcade, FPS game that most people say it feels like being on drugs or something...

9ead01 I like Ultrakill and its ties with the concept of Dante's Inferno, such as the trees in Violence 7-3, which depicts suicidal people.

9ead01 and finally, treachery, where people like Brutus, who stabbed Julius Caesar would reside. Being the final layer of hell.
