f62996 Well, if he did lose a finger, it wouldn't take much to replace it, so he could still have all of his fingers. He works out to get the extra muscles to regenerate, if that makes sense (brb again)

841566 It would actually drain this axel person more to than just heal it instantly because you bodys activally healing and destroying it self on a different part of it which likely will consume more protein and neccessary shit to live

f62996 It's not scarring, it's a real, raw wound. I need to figure out more on how this "mass" stuff works (BOO BOO BO) yeah yeah ik. I can't really explain it cuz I've never really vocalized it before. Every time Axel gets hurt, his body tries to regenerate it, but in order to regen, he needs to get that flesh from somewhere else on his body. It's like the alchemist's rule of equivalent exchange. For really small wound like minor cuts and burns, he tells his body to not recover that, as it will be a waste of mass. Axel's chest wound is so big, he doesn't have the mass to recover it, keeping it in a loop of recovery and destruction. Make sense?

f62996 I'm gonna use Raddy as a base cuz fun you but the lighter blue is where the front part of his wound is on his chest and the darker color is where it wraps around his back. Axel can regenerate to a certain level, but he doesn't have enough "mass" to completely heal this, and his body heals automatically. So when it repairs some of the deeper parts that's missing flesh, another wound opens
