Defense points absorb damage first. When defense reaches 0, the item breaks and is destroyed. Offense: equipped weapon with fixed damage. Used to attack. Not consumed. Limits: Each player can carry up to 3 items per category. If you faint (health reaches 0), your inventory is lost.
