985214 The Switch 1 has pretty bad build quality. Lasts for like... 5 years until you notice damages and other kinds of shit occurring... plus, again, BETTER GPU. It'll essentially play like a PS4 Pro now. Still not fully new-gen, but way better than before...

985214 Besides, the Switch 2 can still play all sensible NS1 games. When I say sensible, I mean games that don't have stupid gimmicky things, like the IR sensor. So yes, you can still play BotW and TotK, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario Maker 2, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, etc. etc., you get the idea. So no, all that money you spent on games will not have gone to waste. It's likely WHY Nintendo did that in the first place.

99610a Switch 2. Pisses me off how so many people hate this system. What, were you expecting this to be a brand new console? No, it's a fucking SWITCH 2. The Switch 1 is a perfect console aside from joycon drift and the battery life. Nintendo is essentially just redoing it. It also makes sense because they are known for failing quite a lot at console marketing. The N64 was their first mainline failure, followed by the Gamecube, and then the Wii U. In fact, Nintendo was SCARED in 2017 when they released the first Switch, because they weren't certain if the console was going to be good or not.
