c56632 We had a Wii and a 360 for up until 2016 when my dad got a pretty big raise and took me to Target to go buy an Xbox One. Then we got the New 2DS XL the following year, then the Switch the following year, etc.

c56632 My family's been Nintendo+Xbox exclusively. Only Playstation we ever owned was the Vita, and that was for my 10th birthday. And guess what? I barely played it. Played Little Bit Planet Vita and that was it.

5005a6 also battery life usually depends for me, MHUR drains the shit outta it, while little things like YT, Pokemon cafe, or Minecraft, they'll last longer, im not sure how long tho since i always have it on the charger

c56632 I've had drift problems with my Switch for a little while now. The joycons don't need the button to be pressed to slide off, barely any force is required to get them loose thanks to the little "switched guard" being a toothpick. There's a scratch on my screen. The battery lasts for a single hour and that's it. I've had my Switch since 2018, so... yeah.

2d3d39 Switch 2... sure, they might still need to optimize their games, but it's not in a very overly-done way. It'll mostly just be model de-subdividing, and somewhat lower-quality textures.

5005a6 my nintendo is perfectly fine, too, the only issue is storage space, and i dont have the original controllers cause they got a horrible drift, and the red joystick broke, but the new ones i have are by HORI and they are fuckin way better than the old ones cause they have extra buttons on the back you can assign, and they have a turbo button which if you activate it, you can hold it and it does- i cant explain it but itscool. the only downside is that they cant dissconnect from the consle, so i cant hook it up to the tv or anything and they're massive, soi have to take them off when i pack it up and put them somewhere else. but i've had them for over a year and they havent drifted yet so yay

2d3d39 Aulner. Please actually read what I'm saying. You don't need to. It's just recommended because the Switch 2 is a lot more powerful. But nobody's forcing it. It's more-so geared for developers anyways, since it's kind of shitty to have to optimize your game to have the Switch even show a frame of what's going on.

10663d Ive had mine for a long while and I haven't had any issues... it runs really well and I have zero drift with it. I don't see why I should buy the Switch 2 if mine still works fine and runs fast
