03fd37 Sorry Nat, I needed to go do something... uhm, really I'm alright.. I should be okay. Thank you for your concern though
226e04 People say, humans are social creatures. But the reason why humans are social is because when we were only mere apes, we could only band together because we were weak individually. Grouping together ensured survival and in modern times, ensures a sense of identity.
bfb044 also i've seen so many people say yaoi and i didnt know what it was so i googled it. its like, gay hentai or smth vro ToT
876c7e Pls stop my brain is overloaded with smart words i might tweak out-
718e05 what are these people talking about
2f933a Mhm.
bfb044 is this still going on vro
226e04 Empathy, or perhaps extending to relationships in my eyes, are a bit of a facade created by the brain. Values that ultimately connect to self-interest and desires. Maybe despite this, it doesn't invalidate what was there, but it does make the scenario of change such a determining factor for what you end up choosing to empathize with more.
226e04 In simple truth, that value of human life is set on standards by you, not necessarily because life is valuable to you, but how valuable it is for you. If someone were to suddenly change, you wouldn't value them as much anymore because those initial values aren't there anymore.
226e04 Really, anything can happen that can affect how you value life and people. How certain things can affect the value of them, because of things you never anticipated.
718e05 lets not get too deep into this or else Dale WILL turn your head into a crumpled piece of paper
2f933a ...
226e04 Their entire worldview wouldve likely collapsed.
718e05 (BY THE WAY MY REAL SIBLINGS NEVER KILLED ANYONE THIS IS JUST SO I CAN KEEP MYSELF ANONYMOUS)
876c7e yes over a game
226e04 If this seems far fetched, heres an important lesson you should know. The most far fetched ideas are just as likely to be true as others. How many serial killers have you heard of, where they were seemingly great people or great husbands or wives of families? How do you think their loved ones, if they survived, thought about the person they loved?
296099 over... a game? it isn't that serious.
876c7e Forgive me sc, my game is not fucking gaming so like, ya.
718e05 yes me and Dale both love eachother (in a siblings fashion)
718e05 but I am quite literally a PAPER GUY. I AM MADE OF PAPER!!!
2f933a I really wouldn't want to think about it.
226e04 Do you still love them? Do they still love you?
718e05 oh yeah my brother murdered a guy
296099 jeez, twobit. you're overly violent, are you?
226e04 And what if, they start to act differently than what you previously thought they were? The traits you loved and cherished so much, seemingly just an illusion?
876c7e I SAID PAPER GUY NOT YOU JOHN BUT NOW YOUR JOINING HIM
2f933a Uhm..
718e05 please don't cripple me
226e04 So, let me set a better example. What would you do if you found out the person you love most, had killed someone in cold blood?
876c7e Guys, lets just cripple this paper guy, i think thats what he wants
024523 [Ekusukariba] [i havent been paying attention to the convo]
718e05 uhm... yuh
2f933a I don't really know what's going on..
226e04 What if that crippled person was tormented by the other? Did the person who was killed was a truly deserving person of that crime? Did the crippled person do something to the other? What did the person do in order to warrant such punishment? What is the merit by then? Obviously, at the end of the day, the examples are merely based on moral values and it doesn't seem to contribute too much to my point.
718e05 fuck y'all were talking about mental health, weren't y'all?
226e04 What if one person killed another person and another person simply crippled another? Who is the more valuable one? At the most superficial level, the answer would most likely be the person with the less severe action compared to your standards.
876c7e My brain hurts ..
718e05 this is like the 50th time someone does some weird ass shit on scratch and I need to interrogate them like the LAPD.
226e04 But, can you truly value each and every possible life? Its an extreme standard, what? If you value life, you should value all life! At least, thats one perspective, but the truth is that value is not inherent, its based on value.
You can leave feedback about PAM here, but please note that I don't have a lot of time to work on PAM at the moment. There are lots of other tools out there (see here for examples) in case you need a tool with more features. Thank you for your understanding!
