a0925b like ths is the thing with drama videos when you're exposed to them for the first time, sometimes you just hear about someone and you already fucking hate them after watching one video

e1bba7 Angular sprites are much easier to make a normal map of, as usually it's just solid colors.
e1bba7 Now, with making a normal map, it's kind of complicated there. If you don't know what a normal map is, it's basically a texture that tells the shader of the program where light will shine within that texture. It's typically used in 3D models to add more depth to it without actually modelling the mesh and adding more polygons to it, which helps with optimization, but it can also be used in 2D games. However, it's a bit time consuming to make a normal map. Aseprite has a built-in normal map wheel which helps, but it's still pretty complicated to figure out if you don't know what you're doing...
e1bba7 Also, CY, the fuck you mean? It sounds great-
e1bba7 Nerd rant... it's actually very simple. No coding required. You just have to make a "normal map" within your art studio of choice, and then import it and the regular base sprite into godot as a 2D sprite node, set the base as the Diffuse Map, and then the Normal as the... well, normal map.
e1bba7 MY BOY LOOKS 3D THIS IS SO COOL- https://files.catbox.moe/musvxa.mp4
e1bba7 Holy shit Godot supports normal map shading this is so cool-
You can leave feedback about PAM here, but please note that I don't have a lot of time to work on PAM at the moment. There are lots of other tools out there (see here for examples) in case you need a tool with more features. Thank you for your understanding!
