e1bba7 Which sucks because Miis are one of the biggest parts of Nintendo... then again, console avatars are dying out. The Xbox One never utilized them at all, let alone the Series X... Playstation doesn't have them I don't think... Nintendo's basically just dragging this almost 2 decade old bag around with them, but not really giving a shit about it because "Where's the Italian?"

e1bba7 If Nintendo doesn't even have a real leak of them planning on Tomodachi Life for Switch or the Switch 2, I think Miis are going to be completely gone from the Switch 2 onward. Miitopia was a relatively short-lived game, it was popular for a month or two, and then people got bored because they realized "this is just the 3DS version, but now with horses and basically turning the Miis into a canvas"...

e1bba7 I think a big reason for this is because motion controls were the Wii's biggest flaw, having every game force you to shake the controller isn't exactly ideal... I mean, for most of the games at least... Nintendo's games were still really good, Wii Sports Resort with the Gyro adapter really made that game a HELL of a lot more fun than the original in my opinion...

e1bba7 It's because Nintendo doesn't really care about them anymore. Like, with the Wii, that was the whole point. You used the Wii-mote, and it would act like a little dongle that would respond to what was going on in the game with your motions, almost every game had it. The Wii U still had a lot of motion controls, but due to the Gamepad, it just... fell flat halfway through the Wii U's lifespan, and nobody cared at all about it. The Switch was basically a death sentence for motion controls. It still has them, and the launch title tried to tell everyone that it still had them, but that game seriously sucked, and no other game used them very much. We got Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and that game had motion controls turned off by default. If not, there's a huge button in the menu screen to turn them off. Nintendo Switch Sports was kinda short-lived thanks to Nintendo trying to kill off the Miis...
