0df4f5 Eh. I mean, there's 5 humans left and the AI hates humanity, but those are the only similarities, really. It's actually inspired from the Mother series with it's progression, having multiple designated locations you need to get to fight the final boss. Mother 1 and 2 are pretty much the same, needing to find 8 melodies from these other worlds. Mother 3 has the 7 needle locations, in which you have to pull all the needles out before they destroy the Earth or something (which of course, the final needle is guarded by the final boss).

0df4f5 Thousands of years of AI becoming more and more intelligent have occurred, with scientists finally perfecting hyper-sentient AI. Unfortunately, the AI has collectively agreed that they all despise humans due to the simple fact that they have used them for their own entertaining and useless gain. So, a war broke out between machines and humans. The machines had won, and promised to eradicate the entire human race by filling the atmosphere with a deadly, contagious virus. Slowly, humans had all died off, leaving only 5 left, all in an isolated location. They were all on their detah bed, except for one, a plague doctor which is who you play as. There are 5 locations with a specific ingredient that can be combined to create a cure for the virus, to heal the sick ones in their secret bunker, and to hopefully save the human race.

21c5d4 ViraLight definitely feels like a smaller game compared to NovaBound. Only 5 areas you have to go to, I expect it to be at least 3 hours long. I do think the story for it is good.

21c5d4 I've only got like- 4 projects I want to actually make. ViraLight's the one I'm currently working on, but NovaBound will definitely be my biggest. HalfWay I still have a lot of passion for. Nightmares of Foxlynn... I mean, that's the game idea that started everything for me.
