bc9e51 early on in his existence on earth, bmo started off as a semi-intelligent slime-mold like organism that spread slowly across the subterranian landscape. Over the years he developed into a more aware hivemind, but that spread fascilitated the growth of the glopnest, which is the underground mega structure that serves as most of bmos "body"

bc9e51 one of the coolest things about glop is hyperion metabolis, which is the process in which hyperions will consume normal matter and energy to produce more hyperions. It's sort of like how trying to split a quark pair just causes the energy you need to split the quark pair to generate two more quarks. This is how glop slowly grows and spreads.

bc9e51 but yeah basically every single hyperion acts as an individual, which is why they're so good at doing physical actions as efficiently as possible, which means bmo is extremely strong, extremely fast, and so on. Not only that, every single hyperion is capable of recieving any form of information that goes into their field of influence as well, which means bmo doesn't NEED eyes, his human form is due to him observing humans over time and becoming fascinated with them (which is also related to the fact that shiva has a human form, he just doesnt know that, bmo doesnt know anything about his origins because he doesnt retain that level of awareness, its like not knowing what star your atoms are from)

bc9e51 The reason why glop is blue is because A) pam's base color is blue and I adopted it as bmos color but B) hyperions emmit a natural harmonic set of frequencys, the strongest being 325 nanometers (UV), and the strongest VISIBLE freqency being 472 nanometers

bc9e51 Besides their mass, hyperions can influence their electromagnetic state, their spin state, their weak and strong nuclear states, and so on. They're basically programmable particles, able to shift and transform according to four dimensional actions.

And the thing is, each hyperion is "sentient", as they each represent a fully capable instance of glop. When they converge, their intelligence doesn't build up, even if their strength and capability does. This makes glop an extremely versatile and extremely powerful material.

Think of them as spaghetti strands that are taped together at one end, and poke through a piece of paper on the other end. The small circular slices of the spaghetti that touch the paper are the hyperions, and to the paper they look seperate, but in the end they all converge up where they're taped.

So to reiterate, the simplest way to put it is, imagine you're reaching into a dark box, and your finger tips barely reach the bottom of the box, where you can sort of feel your way around and understand whats there through your finger tips. Obviously, you're not fully down there, but you can still get information from your fingertips up to your brain, and your brain can send instructions down to your muscles to move your fingers around. You can imagine Shivas blood dripping all the way down as your arm then your hand then your fingertips, and this mass of glop (bmo) is that fingertip, he's that faint manifestation of shiva down in our universe. A metaphorical description I've used alot before is that Bmo is Shivas dream.

Ichor in general causes whats known as manifestation, like a stamp pressing its pattern onto a piece of paper, the ichor causes fluctuations in whatever medium it interacts with in the direction of the ichors god

bc9e51 But yeah Shivas eternally burning and eternally dying corpse started leaking his blood (a substance that functions as the boiled down meaning of a gods existence, its known as ichor) down through the cosmic layers, down through the higher dimensions, staining worlds and civilizations as it went, and that constant stream passes through our, and many other, 3 dimensional universes.

It's difficult to convey this, but the Six Rings, while still technically a separate entity, operate more like an organ to Shiva. Think of it as the relationship between a father and his child, a man and his dog, a warrior and his sword, or a body and its heart. They're tight like that.

But when more of the gods began falling towards order and completion, Shiva, enraged, began a war, between the forces of chaos and the forces of entropy. Trillions of gods where killed, devoured, and assimilated. In the end, entropy stood victorious, and Shiva was sealed, along side all his allies. When I say sealed, I mean he was killed, and continous to die indefinitely, and has the love, hate, sorrow, killing blow, breath of life, seal of fate of every god opposed against him imbued onto him. gods are weird, but basically you can think of it as his corpse has like 5 bajillion different security measures installed on it and is being guarded in god jail

bc9e51 alr well if we go back in bmo lore then we go to Shiva, the God of Chaos. In primordial time in a higher realm known as the god space, there existed trillions upon trillions of beings, some who emerged from the "ocean", a boundless, beyond ancient substance (basically they just sort of formed themselves into existence) and some that budded off of other beings. These are the "gods", and they each fall into specific existential niches. Shiva falls into the niche of chaos, and he was one of the gods to emerge from the ocean. Due to shivas nature, he was inherently against all structure and organization, which manifested at the time as the god Vishnu, the god of entropy.
